a zillion miles away
I’ve decided to post, every once in a while, some images from my archives. This one dates to some 5 or 6 years ago and its me at Miramar beach. I photoshoped it to look like a distant alien home from far across space and time. As a sci-fi affictionato, I find it irresistible to fill the void of that could lie between this world and others. I sometimes doze away thinking about such distant and seemingly futile things, transcending the boredom of everyday life. Getting high on thoughts and eventually lost in space. Anyway, there I stand, alone on a beach, a trillion zillion miles away, orbiting a red dwarf, in a binary star system with some big gas orbs and very visible galaxies over a permanent dusky sky. Try to beat that, Van Gogh (starry night?)! You can click on the picture to enlarge it.
